Received an email from Ms.Hutchinson and confirmed the meeting for Friday at 5pm, this time is now set as our weekly check in.

Successfully completed the Presentation in class and graded other group member’s presentations.

Thursday:

Made a rough draft of the Original Work Proposal; answered all the major questions

Finished the Research Reflections Presentation Self Evaluation assignment

Friday:

Met with Ms.Hutchinson, discussed my ideas and finalized the idea about learning the programming language Python.

Revised my Original Work Proposal, rechecked and submitted it.

Began working on the weekly blog.

Reflection:
My main success this week would be finalizing my Original Work Project Idea. I was torn on 2 different project ideas and I was also worried that one of them might not be complex enough to work on for the next 3-4 months. However, after discussing it with my mentor, I was not only able to finalize the idea, we were able to make it even better! We went into detail and discussed the time required for each part, the difficulty and how the end result would look like. We were even able to go ahead and create a github account, through which I will be displaying my final projects. Other than the original work project, another major accomplishment this week was completing my Research Reflections Presentation. I did mess up on a couple of parts, but overall it was an improvement from the beginning of the year. I look forward to improving these skills and working on the original work project with my mentor in the near future.
