About ISM

Independent Study Mentorship, or ISM is an exciting, rigorous program designed for high-achieving students. This course allows students to conduct a self-directed, in-depth study of a topic of their choice, while gaining real world experience with the help of a mentor.

Through this program, students develop various skills, such as professionalism, public speaking, stronger communication and interviewing skills.  There are also many opportunities available through this class as well, for example, original idea generation, hands on experience in a professional environment and participation in district events.
